FLAMINGO

FLAMINGO

It feels great to be writing for the first time from Paris. After a month of excitement and anticipation, we finally made it here. Every invitation arriving is like a warm welcoming hug. I love to see new collections, to get to know what is coming next and mostly to witness such level of creativity and elegance merged in one design. Paris is looking beautiful but really, really cold. Blame the wind who insists on giving your hair a last touch before every show. On the bright side, walking in heels here is a pleasure compared to many cities.

About the look, there's not many things I can regret (well maybe there is) but one of them is styling the pink coat only when it is starting to become mainstream. Maybe it's the colour. Maybe it is how it makes you feel - soft and delicate. Except when you decide to style it differently.

Seeing pink coats everywhere and battling the idea of what pink makes me feel, I decided to do my own take, one that would actually feel more outgoing and cooler. Inspired by the tropical surroundings and the weather, the result turned up exotic - like a Flamingo!
