MAKE IT WORK
You know when you buy something online and when it arrives it looks completely different from what you saw on the website, and still, you wish it looked exactly as it showed to you or for some reason you need to make it work? Well if you are not good with needles and threads altering a brand new piece of clothing is likely to turn out disappointing.
That is exactly when styling can save you. The main difference between fashion and style is that fashion has more to do with what the clothing piece is, and styling is how you wear it. So despite of what you see, you can make it different depending on your personal style and what you are going for. You can turn up the sleeves, add a belt or tuck it in. Jazz it up or jazz it down.
When this Y.A.S. shirt dress arrived it looked nothing from what I expected, something I wound't wear. It was not very flattering. With a thin belt I was able to make it shorter and define the waist a little bit, making it look more stylish and elegant.
About the look, when wearing a long top, I like to pair it with skinny bottoms. Leather leggings have been one of my favourite options during winter. Although I am still on the hunt for some that are super warm and wet looking like the ones I wore last fashion week in Paris, I've been trying out all sort of styles recently to add some variety to my Fall/Winter wardrobe.
What is something you would like to see me wearing/styling?
I will start picking from your suggestions some of my next looks! You can pick a type of clothing, an accessory, material or a brand. Everything counts!
