PFW LOOK #4
As much as I love colour, I have to admit that this look made me feel like I had hit the wrong season. I mean, it felt like pure Winter (more than it felt during Christmas) and I felt like Spring. It was like arriving two hours early to that party that you only wished to be on time.
That being said, this was still a very good look. If you've been following "Best Street Style from FW 2016" maybe you already know that yellow, floral prints, reds, leather pants and ankle boots were the hype in almost every city. Not to mention that Milan seemed to be endorsing a Summer during Winter thing.
About the look, I am wearing this dress by Sonia Rykiel with a vintage cut. Leather pants from Helmut Lang and my most worn handbag during Fashion Week - the Armani handbag.
Could this coat be any more flattering? It might be the perfect mid season outerwear to to have at the moment. If you don't have a bright coloured coat in your closet, you might be missing something. Yellow will burst in Spring like a sunflower, and you will find yourself wanting anything and everything in this colour. Match it with white and you are good to go. It is like a colours of the nature movement, where forest greens, sun yellows, sea greens and sky blues will take over your closet. And this doesn't mean we will all be dressing like rainbows, neutrals are still strong, whites browns and beiges will be there for that travel, bohemian, and Coachella moments. Denim is still Big In Japan so if you are not a fan of that free soul move, this might end up being your go-to choice.
