I'M WITH THE BAND
If you missed my last couple Instagram posts, here's the cool story behind this jumpsuit:
When I bought it, it was nothing less than four sizes bigger than what I usually wear (xs/s). Truth is that I have no other excuse for that, except it wasn't available in my size (and probably never was) .. it was late, and I needed something to wear. But long story short, I ended up leaving with a black and silver dress and not actually wearing this jumpsuit it at the time. However, things happened in such a way that I ended up taking it Paris with me for Paris Fashion Week where I came up with one of my favourite Winter looks registered here on Silver Girl. I wore it with leather leggings inside because it was so cold, you can see it here.
So the other day I found it in my closet and came up with something edgier that fits the current mood. Although it can be a bit of a statement piece to own, purchased a while back, it still fits the current trends and goes with all that is ON at the moment. It is not the most flattering move to pick bigger sizes (mostly when you go as far with it as I went with it), but it's always a safer choice since you can always make it smaller by making some adjustments, whether you decide to take it to an upcoming designer-friend or a local seamstress.
The Guns n Roses t-shirt will definitely be back in another look soon. Although it seems to be almost sold out, any other bad t-shirt would work perfectly here, mostly if you can get it with golden lettering like this one.
