Maybe you call it a grey suit, maybe you thought it was just the blazer.. or maybe you have been fooled into a houndstooth or a tweed instead of the true prince of Wales.. it's ok, it's not like everyone will notice. But if you haven't got your trendy suit for the season (that by the way, it should also be worn separately) go for the Prince of Wales print in grey, trouser + blazer.
For the day-to-day look, let's say days at university, a quick run to the supermarket or afternoon getting work done. Basic white tee with white sneakers and a leather jacket will do well with the suit bottoms. For a night out, change to black vinyl trousers, or a mini LBD, with an oversized straight cut or double breasted prince blazer.. don't forget the heels. Keep it classy.
The trick behind the full suit is to wear it as if it was a tracksuit, comfortably loose. When in doubt, shop at the men's section, you're likely to find something more suitable.
If you like to stay on the edge, look for shoulder pads, and push the sleeves up till mid arm leaving the sweater showing under. Maybe some oversized sunglasses, even if it's Winter, just roll with it.
