LONDON FASHION WEEK DAY 2
Despite the fact that I can't even recall the last time I sat down to share another look and write my thoughts out, it is all for a good cause. I can't share much but I can tell you this, I am finally getting everything together and soon enough you will be having new things coming up here twice a day, including video, all things about trends and style and of course the so popular OOTD's. So that's exciting!
London Fashion Week was not as cool as I imagined. Turns out it quickly became a school's day presentation where all private schools AA+ students (or ££+ students) showcase their work. It's great to the eyes of anyone who hasn't ever gone to Paris, Milan or NY Fashion Week. The trill of going to a proper show (where you are treated with respect) is irreplaceable. I did enjoy a few collections but it was nothing like my experience in Paris. After sharing my disappointment with LFW on snapchat and instastories, I skipped the rest of the shows and started planning my trip to PFW instead. I initially planned to go to Milan, but because I was getting a lot of invitations for Paris before even deciding to go, I thought it would be the one I would be making the most of. And it really was!
About the look, I decided to play with layers despite the unusual warm weather. Matching my black skorts with my favourite wrap satin bodysuit is not new for me, I love matching these two together on a Summer night out. The key piece here was this sheer heart patterned top from River Island that inspired this look. My new go-to jacket was a gift from Dezzal, the design is impeccable, the material is super resistant and it's real leather! To make it more interesting and match the sheer, I added the tights.
Hope you enjoyed this one, let me know your thoughts, and I will be back soon with a new one. Meanwhile, make sure you don't miss 12 MUST HAVES FOR WINTER 2016/2017
