MUST HAVE OF THE WEEK: BOATER HAT

The straw boater (also known as skimmer) has been around since last year, as a form to portray a laid-back beach or countryside look. It is one of those things that came and gone several times in history, not only as a boater hat, as it is called, but also as a part of boys school uniforms in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The day men switched from their winter hats to boater hats (Straw Hat Day) was seen as a sign of the being of Summer. Despite the fact we are matching it with off-shoulder mini dresses, things seem to not have changed that much after all.
