DAY TO NIGHT IN LISBON WITH MANGO
I know what you are thinking, did I actually sit down for 15min to come here? And where the hell am I right now? You might guess Lisbon by the photos, but I am in fact back to London. Long story short I've been playing the Russian roulette and let just say I didn't lose but I was starting to get a little anxious. That might not make much sense now, but hold on to that, it will make a lot of sense in the next months. And before you accuse me to come back all Riverdale on you full of secrets and mysteries - one this is for sure, I am back. Will it be the same? Well, I hope not, that was the main reason I left.
A while back after fashion week, I had to make a quick stop in Lisbon, and I know this might sound a bit 90's but - I had nothing to wear! My luggage was filled with flashy trendy wintery clothing from Paris, and one basic look for airport comfort assurance. But Lisbon was breathing freedom and satisfaction - exactly what I needed.
Now, you have no idea how hard it is to find Summer clothing in Lisbon during winter, this dress was on a mannequin with a long sleeve on the inside I was sweating on my t-shirt, it was 24 degrees!
About the look, although this dress came a bit out of a low option situation, I spent some good 3 hours hunting, so let's say although I liked it it's a bit too long for my taste. Even so, I found that it blended perfectly with the Portuguese vibe (if that makes any sense) as it was the most comfortable thing I wore that week - ha! not very hard coming from fashion week after all. The slits always give long dresses that touch that totally flip my mind and make me want to wear it. So I'd give it a 7 overall. As for the styling - keeping it fresh with the most hyped accessory of the season, the 90's thin sunglasses.
