SUNDAY IN BARCELONA

SUNDAY IN BARCELONA

THIS WAS WRITTEN IN 12TH MAY A YEAR AGO. BUT I NEVER POSTED.
P.S. THIS MAKES ME MISS BARCELONA SO BAD

It takes one's dress, one flight and one friend to take over Barcelona in just one day.
You know how I hate Sundays right? Everything is closed, there's not much to do other than lay under the sun, hopefully, if it is sunny! We went savage mode and got a weekend trip to Barcelona hoping to see absolutely everything plus shoot the new t-shirts. You would not believe, but the first day was raining so we ended up not seeing much. I basically wore my airport look for the entire day and the morning of the Sunday.

So Sunday it was sunny we woke up late because we did the mistake of going for a seafood buffet and ate so much for our stomachs that we were literally in pain and had to get medication. I honestly had not realised how much my stomach had shrieked with dieting and had my favourite food right there, shrimps, oysters sushi, literally everything you can think of. We didn't even get the desert and we still got a stomach ache. Anyways, at least I learned something.
So Sunday we woke up late got ready super quickly to grab something to eat and head to Park Guel, the thing is.. everything was closed because - Sunday! So, believe it or not, I ended up trying Burger King for the first time (I know I am so relatable haha), I got the double whopper! (did I spell that right?) But that was only after a couple ours actually looking for a place to eat, oh and drop our luggage because we couldn't change the early check in. The hotel was so full you wouldn't believe!

So then the clock hit 2PM so fast I didn't realise how much the time had passed! When we got to Park Guell I remembered I should probably change clothes because one it was too hot and two I was getting tired of wearing the same exact look for so long, for me 2-3 looks per day make the norm, I am not even kidding try watching a random vlog on youtube.

So we visited the main attractions such as Park Guell, Casa Batllo, Barceloneta, Sagrada Familia, Arc de Triomf and the Mercat de la Boqueria. But because it was so late we didn't have the time to go in, the queue was so long I was actually sad, mostly the Casa Batló that one I was ready to pay whatever to go in and I wanted to take the classic shot at Park Guell, but guess if you want to do everything in one day you need to not go to a buffet in the day before, not go to bed after 2PM, and definitely have luggage and food sorted to leave the hotel as early as possible. I hope you can learn from my mistakes.

Our last stop was Barceloneta, and once we decided to leave it started raining like crazy! The weather changed so quickly, in one second we were walking in the promenade eating our ice creams, the other we were running to get back to the hotel. Thankfully we didn't get wet and got to the airport with enough time to see a beautiful pink sunset.

About the look, I got this cute navy striped dress from Asos, it was so comfortable and I knew it would look good with the converse. Then to keep my own sort of trend going I tied the bandana to my wrist making it a nice sea breeze Summer look. I could wear this all day!
